Hao Staff Piano Notation
for Adults

Hao Staff Piano Notation was invented by Mr. Jeff Hao in 2006 and obtained patent certificate in the US in 2008. It has inspired and enabled more than ten thousand people in the world, who did not learn to play when they were young, to start playing piano at home for fun.

The Hao Staff Piano Notation retains all the information in traditional standard notation, but visually exposes the black and white keys as represented by the lines, spaces, sharps and flats of the Grand Staff. It suits better the later learners, or people with limited standard notation sightreading abilities, and can dramatically increase the piano playing population in the world.

“Hao Staff Piano Notation Category” was advocated and established by Mr. Jeff Hao, inventor of the Hao Staff Piano Notation, founder and CEO of Hao’s Piano Club (Shanghai).
